KRE Race Engines specialises in building V8 Supercar and Sprintcar Race Engines.  Due to our continued growth a vacancy exists for a highly motivated experienced Workshop Foreman to co-ordinate our busy engine reconditioning / race engine building workshop.

Reporting to the Business Manager the successful applicant will be responsible for co-ordinating the day to day operations and organising our team with machining & engine building requirements.  The position will liaise with our Technical Manager and Purchasing Officer on job scheduling and inventory requirements as well as managing staff performance.  You will be also be hands on in the workshop when required.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and be able to demonstrate people and management skills.  Workshop co-ordination experience is essential as well as excellent time management and communication skills. Previous experience in engine reconditioning or engine building is mandatory.  Knowledge of MS Office Suite including Word and Excel is an advantage.

KRE Race Engines is currently seeking an experienced Engine Builder to fill a vacancy in our V8 Supercar Division.  Reporting to the Head V8 Engine Builder, the
successful application will work within a small team of motivated engine builders.

The successful applicant will be required to perform duties including stripping, washing & reporting on engines, rebuilding and maintaining the engines to specific requirements.  Experience in Dyno setup and tuning is an advantage. You will travel to each of the V8 Supercars Rounds throughout Australia and overseas servicing our customers in an Engine Data Support Role.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, organisational and time management skills.  Previous experience inV8 Supercar Race Engine Building and Motec Control Systems experience is essential.  Some engine reconditioning experience would be an advantage.
